For a house or renovation

  • Photographs of the wall or area in question
  • Which direction the floor joists above run
  • A floor plan or hand sketch with rough dimensions
  • The approximate age of the house
  • The municipality, and any permit deadline
Commercial & industrial

For a building or plant

  • Architectural or existing structural drawings
  • The nature of the alteration or new work
  • Equipment loads, if any are being added
  • Whether a design review or a full design is wanted
  • Target dates for issue and construction
